Pulse Hair Salon owner, Vernon Fuentes, is an international educator and former design team member of L’anza Healing Hair Care. Vernon has traveled extensively sharing his passion for color and cut as an educator. He started his career in Miami at world renown salon, Kroma Hair Color Studio. He relocated to Colorado nearly 20 years ago and opened Pulse Hair Salon & Barber Lounge in 2013. Vernon has been published in many publications including: Behind the Chair, Hot on Beauty, Beauty Launchpad Magazine, Wedding Belles Magazine, Empower Magazine, Denver Style Magazine and more. Pulse has received many accolades since the salon first opened its doors, including A-List Best Hair Salon in Denver for five years running.

You can trust Juana to give you an innovative personalized style. She has more than seven years of experience with working with women, men and children—big or small, she provides the best treatment for all. For five years running, Pulse Hair Salon has won best hair and salon; she is very proud of this achievement. Juana is a visual artist and is particular about what she delivers. She is constantly learning new techniques and lives up to the salon’s expectations and excels at the industry’s high standards. From color replacement and cutting styles, she can help with her blending and smooth cuts. She is an expert with styling and cutting curly hair, you will leave the salon confident with bouncy and smooth curls. With her attention to detail, she also enjoys eyebrow designs and waxing and conditioning treatments. Juana is a passionate and experienced stylist that brings new skills and fresh ideas.
MIYUKI ALCALA
Stylist & Color Specialist
Miyuki is another rising star at Pulse Hair Salon. She met Vernon Fuentes while attending school at Emily Griffith in Denver, Colo. Miyuki has been doing hair for nearly five years, and is excited to expand her knowledge in color—that's her favorite thing to do. She also enjoys makeup application for special events, photo shoots, weddings, etc. Miyuki has also started on her journey to applying lash extensions. People remember Miyuki not only for her superior work ethic, but also her gift in hair massages. She is extremely grateful to be working along side Denver's top talent and salon (top salon for hair color too!).
